Spirit

Dear valuable visitor,

I still feel uncomfortable writing a semi-blog under the section news. I am not the website developer but I was told one is working on it to have more options to have it all correctly catogorized. 

At least I can write.

The painting uploaded is a painting of years back. I have given it a title in which I cannot recall anymore. It is on the tip of my tongue. The longer I look at it I have several titles coming through which belongs to the painting. Spirit, The Spirit, Spirit of Love, Spirit Love, Spirit One….Anything that is spirit. It represent Spirit. 

Anyone who have a sense of spirituality, conciousness, oneness (or an experience with spychedelic substances) may understand what I am trying to say.

When I painted this painting I tried to paint big J. Jesus that is. But I was terrible in drawing the base. I had to adjust. Why Jesus? Well, He is the Spirit. But I don't see Him any different of the Great Spirit/ Wakan Tanka. One and the same? It is Force. Love force, life force, light force. How it may be…..I wanted it on the canvas.

This became the result. Not good for sale. It wasn't my purpose anyway. Sale. I wanted Spirit on the canvas. I gave the painting to a young woman who happend to be a student. But in her world she felt it was a loan. She had it in her possession for 4 years and it served its purpose to her. 

Now it is in my possession. Hanging above my bed. I admit, I am not very good at making a good hanging system. I solved it very practical and amateuristic for the time being. 

This painting a leap to what I am creating nowadays. The painting serves a purpose to me. I look at it. Close my eyes and say “thank you God/Spirit. I am grateful for what I have and for what is about to come. Thanks to You I can do all of this."
